Ambercor Shipping has successfully completed the challenging task of transporting a massive aluminum die machine from the port of Charleston, SC, to Ridgeville, SC. The project, initiated just four months ago, required meticulous planning and coordination to ensure a smooth and safe delivery.
The shipment comprised two pieces, weighing 57,500 kg and 82,700 kg, with dimensions of 500 cm x 400 cm x 140 cm and 690 cm x 450 cm x 410 cm, respectively. One of the key hurdles was obtaining the necessary permits for transporting such heavy and oversized cargo.
