Ambercor Shipping successfully completed a challenging port-to-door project

Milwaukee, USA | Ambercor Shipping successfully completed a challenging port-to-door project. The transport engineering phase started over a year ago and the team is proud that all plans could be put in practice safely on time and on budget.

Ambercor was contracted to organize a door to door movement of 3 large aluminum yacht sections, measuring up to 38 meters length, 9 meters width and 8 meters in height.

The sections were built in the Netherlands from where they were transported by barge to the port of Antwerp, transloaded to the ocean carrier with a voyage to Milwaukee. In Milwaukee Ambercor took over, the 3 sections were directly discharges and secured on a barge. The barge then travelled from the port of Milwaukee to receiver's own berth of the shipyard on Lake Michigan.

The local transport movement was under personal supervision of the Ambercor team, ensuring a safe delivery to a very satisfied client.
